“This season Prabal was really inspired by contemporary artists Anish Kapoor and Amie Dicke. The look is fresh drops of blood on a naked nail. We aren’t using base coat or anything– it’s completely nude. I am applying the color Angel Bite to just on the tips to create a dipped-in-blood effect. With a striper tool, I’m dipping the brush in the polish. Use the bead of paint that falls to the bottom of the brush to drop onto the nail. Then drag the brush to connect the dots and create a splatter effect. The best part about this look is that you can keep it loose and random!”
