Last week, Bridal Fashion Week showed Fall ’13 collections. Yes, Fall ’13 collections. The Bridal calendar works a full year ahead, which is fun to anticipate, but hard to plan for. If you’re a Fall ’12 bride, chances are you’ve already said “yes” to your dress, so the next installment of the MLF Bridal Series is for the Spring bride. This dress is from Oscar de la Renta’s Spring ’13 Bridal collection. I’m a big fan of injecting a touch of unexpected color, whether it is in your gown, your shoes, or even in your manicure. Wedding nail art can sometimes borderline tacky, but do it in a subtle way and it’ll be sure to look chic.
To emulate this look, I used Bikini So Teeny by Essie, a white nail art pen, and a white nail art brush.
To get these Ladyfingers:
1. Start with a full periwinkle blue nail
2. Using a pearly white nail art pen, create a honeycomb effect by building circles that touch at the edges
3. Using your white nail art paint and brush, paint on top of selected circles that you made with your pen to create dimension and a flower effect. Select other points on your nail to repeat this step.
4. Top it off with top coat!
