With the Oscars just around the corner, Red Carpet looks have been top of mind. And so far, Red Carpet fashion has been a bit of a bore. However, now that Couture Week has concluded, it’s clear the best collection to cater to Red Carpet A-listers is Armani Privé. The drama, the volume, and the high-intensity color are guaranteed wins for any star willing to up the ante and take a risk.  I can almost close my eyes and picture the win. If no one else is willing to step up and rock this statement-making look, I’ll do it. I mean, I may or may not have my speech prepared…

To emulate this look, I used Blue Satin by Chanel, Devonshire Row by Nails Inc, Cameo by Illamasqua, and Tweet Me by Birchbox for Color Club.

To get these Ladyfingers:

1. Start with a full dark blue nail

2. Paint two vertical lines using light blue

 

3. Create staggered purple horizontal lines leaving space for the yellow

 

4. Complete the horizontal lines with yellow/green

 

5. Dot with white where the lines intersect with the blue

6. Top it off with top coat
