Any excuse to wear sweats is fine by me. And to keep from feeling guilty, I pair them back to a fancy decoy like a silk blouse or leather pants. These days I’ve been loving pencil skirts as a base. The look is sporty and versatile– the perfect outfit from transitioning from day to night. For Fall ’13, Clements Ribeiro showed punked-up clashing sweater-skirt pieces. They paired animal prints with brocade poppies, red lace with white-grounded florals, and tartans with bright color-block making for stand-out separates and an extremely wearable/fresh collection.
To emulate this look, I used Strike a Pose by Nicole by OPI, Total Control by Ginger+Liz, and black by Color Club’s Art Duo.
To get these Ladyfingers:
1. Start with a full coral nail
2. Paint a single stroke of magenta down the center of your nail
3. With a black nail art brush, paint a line of black along the edges where the two colors meet and down the center
4. Paint horizontal black lines
5. Top it off with top coat
