Everything Donatella turned to gold and flashed for the Atelier Versace Couture Spring ’13 collection. There was gold-dusted denim, gold pinstripes, and a gold metallic-foiled pantsuit. True to form and aesthetic, the collection featured body-hugging silhouettes and even the embellishment was embellished. The stand-out look for me was the fluorescent neon mink embroidered with rhinestones and shards of mirror. I scaled it down into a relatively simple Ladyfinger, without wavering the standout effect. Grab your neon, Ladies. Time to get flashy…
To emulate this look, I used Rare by Illamasqua, metallic rose gold, metallic gold, and a nail art brush.
To get these Ladyfingers:
1. Start with a full neon yellow nail
2. Using your nail art brush paint vertical lines in gold leaving space between for more lines
3. [Optional:] To create dimension, paint vertical lines in the remaining space with rose gold
4. Top it off with top coat
Also, the winner of the 250,000 Follower Giveaway is Kortni Hobbs. Be sure to check out her amazing nail art @koglo! Congrats, lady!
