MANICURE MUSE: Marni for H&M
Ever since the Marni for H&M collaboration was announced, the countdown to March has been painfully slow. Luckily, we’re in the homestretch. The collaboration finally hits stores March 8th. The complete lookbook has already gone viral giving us much to look forward to (I’ll take one of everything, please). Even better that everything is reasonably priced with most pieces under $100.
I used Urban Purple by Rimmel London, Summer Peach by American Apparel and Stolen Sapphires by Topshop.
To get these Ladyfingers:
1. Paint your full nail a burgundy color
2. Using a dotter tool- I used Orly’s Dotter Duo tool (available here)- make two rows of peach dots across the middle of your nail
3. Make a line of vertical dots aligning with a column dots you made on the right side of your nail
4. Clean your dotter tool and start again dotting with dark blue. Create a dotted vertical line on either side of your peach vertical line
5. Clean your tool again and apply more peach dots at the top and bottom of your nail
6. Seal off with top coat and voila!
MANICURE MUSE: Constance Jablonski for Vogue Latin America February ‘12
Grocery shopping goes glamourous as Constance models looks from Dolce & Gabbana, Prabal Gurung and Jason Wu in the February issue of Vogue Latin America, photographed by Jean-François Campos. I’ve probably pinned every shot from this editorial. [Speaking of follow Miss Ladyfinger on Pinterest at http://pinterest.com/missladyfinger]
To emulate, I started with Sally Hansen’s “Continuous Treatment” as a base coat, “Brilliant White” by CND, “Lapis of Luxury” by Essie, “Feisty” by Topshop, and “True Blue” by Orly Instant Artist.
Click through to find out how to get these ladyfingers…
1. Start by painting your full nail white
2. Create uneven dots using your light blue polish
3. Create uneven pink dots slightly overlapping the light blue to create a layered effect
4. Using a small nail art brush, apply small dots of dark navy in the centers of your dots
5. Top it off with Seche Vite’s Fast Dry Top Coat for a lasting finish
MANICURE MUSE: Prada Spring ‘12
Well, it was about time the infamous Pink Lady uniform be reinvented… thanks to Prada’s Spring collection. For the Rizzos of the world, turn to the crop tops and leather pencil skirts with hot rod decals. And for wholesome Sandys, Prada serves up pleated frocks in frothy colors. Too many things excite me about this collection. You can definitely look forward to another Prada-inspired Miss Ladyfinger feature…
To emulate this look, I used World’s End by Topshop and Mimosa by Chanel:
1. Paint your whole nail light blue
2. Paint a stroke of yellow, starting from 1/4 of the nail down slightly diagonal
3. Paint another diagonal in the other direction
4. Round out the yellow curves with a small brush
5. Use a black nail art pen to follow the curves of the yellow polish leaving a space of light blue in between
6. Top it off with Seche Vite’s Fast Dry Top Coat and voila!

MANICURE MUSE: Nanette Lepore Spring ‘12
One thing I strongly believe in is neon, so you can imagine my excitement attending Nanette Lepore’s runway show in September. Neon lace, neon crop tops… it was neon heaven. [Side note: even the live band donned head-to-toe neon.] Also noteworthy was this super cute mixed striped jacket. To emulate, I used World’s End by Topshop, Shirley Temple by Mattese Elite, and True Blue Instant Artist by Orly.

Dip Dyed:
Now Playing: Stolen Sapphire & Green Room by Topshop Nails ($10 at Topshop)
For those of you as indecisive as I am, picking just one color is quite an ordeal… but, alas! You don’t have to choose with this fun dip-dyed effect. It’s easy, I swear.
1. Pick your two top contenders
2. Paint half of your nail with a generous amount of polish #1 (see picture)
3. VERY quickly and lightly paint the second half with polish #2 being sure to grab just a bit of polish #1
4. For a bold differentiation go over polish #2 at just the tip of your nails
5. Top coat to seal the deal! (Miss Ladyfinger recommends Seche Vite’s Fast Dry Top Coat)
MANICURE MUSE: Viktor & Rolf Spring ‘12
Viktor & Rolf is notorious for over-the-top high production fashion. That’s why we all either love them or hate them, right? Well their Spring ‘12 collection was no different. While the metallic cut-out overblown paisley looks were my personal favorites, this color combo was super cute and itching for a Miss Ladyfinger interpretation. Featured here is Tart Deco (Essie), World’s End (Topshop Nails), and my go-to black… Vinyl (Orly).

Newsprint:
Looking for a new nail art adventure? Put it in words. Literally. According to Topshop’s blog Inside Out, all you need is rubbing alcohol and your literature of choice to transfer to your nails. Can’t wait to try it.
The Lolita Syndrome
In honor of the world famous sex kitten, Brigitte Bardot, and summer looming around the corner I’ve rounded up the flirtiest, sexiest colors for summer. Clothing? Optional. Nail candy? A must.
Starring:
Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Deborah Lippman $16 at DeborahLippman.com
World’s End, Topshop $10
Smooth Sailing (Brazil Collection), Essie $8
Cheeky Chops, Butter London $14 at ButterLondon.com
Morning Rose, Chanel $18 at Bloomingdale’s
Refresh Mint, China Glaze at Nailsuperstore.com
Load, Illamasqua $14 at Sephora
Reece (Reverie Collection), Zoya $8 at zoya.com
World’s End:
Maybe it’s wishful thinking for blue skies. Maybe it’s the name (in case you didn’t know, “Judgement Day” approaches). Either way I’m feeling blue. Tiffany blue.
I bought “Worlds End” on my Topshop excursion this weekend and can’t get enough of it. I’m really a matte type of girl, and the consistency is pretty perfect… actually a lot better than the American Apparel lacquers- which I love- but find to be pretty thick. You probably could get away with one coat of the Topshop colors, but for safe measure I always do two.
